Love, Sex, and Dating
I’m Britney, and I have big news. For all of us.
I am beyond excited to be launching a Love, Sex, and Dating Advice column here at Pride Pocket intended to get you factual (and fun) information to all your most personal LGBTQ questions.
But who am I?
Other than my life-long obsession with Talk Sex with Sue, I feel qualified to answer your questions because:
- If I do not have a lived experience to help contextualize my (investigated) response, I will find someone who does and/or research your query with the help of the extensive and varied LGBTQIA+ network at Pride Pocket. You could have googled it yourself—I’ll do some work to craft you a thoughtful answer.
- I have a lot of lived experiences. I stumbled through the wheel of human sexuality for twelve years trying…well…most things once in effort to figure out who I am and what I like. (Update: I am a huge lesbian.) In other words, I’ve seen some shit, y’all.
- I have spent years battling the innate sexual shame imparted by a southern roman catholic upbringing so that you can get completely unfiltered responses. There is nothing shameful about your desires, your body, or your questions, and I am ready to give you the answers you deserve.
I can’t wait to begin this journey with you– so send all of your Love, Sex, and Dating questions to me at Britney@pridepocket.org so we can get started!
